There's not really good stuff on TV during the summer period. So when a good show comes along it's my duty to let you know. That's why I highly recommend you to watch the season 2 of Monk, as it's one of the best piece of work currently on TV. The show is funny, witty and both well-written and well-acted (Tony Shalhoub is extraordinary). So don't miss it for anything.

- Thurdsay: Tru Calling, with Eliza Dushku. This one was OK, not original but watchable.
- Friday: Karen Sisco, one hell of a snorfest. Please do yourself a favor and stay away.
- Saturday: 10-8, the new ABC Cop show. I'm not really into Cop shows but this one was a lot of fun.
- Sunday: Coupling, the new "Friends" sitcom by NBC. As good as "Friends" season 1, but a hell of a lot more spicy.

Great news for all the V fans out there, including yours truly. NBC has ordered Kenneth Johnson, V's creator a new 3 hours mini series of the show, untitled V: The Second Generation. The new telefilm will pick up the story 20 years later. The characters played by Marc Singer, Faye Grant, Jane Badler and Robert Englund may return, but there will be plenty of new faces. Now that's something I really can't wait to see.

I have purchased the domain MisterSterlingOnline.com. With Everwood, Mister Sterling is the new show that impressed me the most this year. So it definitely deserves a website of its own. I'll probably work on it during the summer. My long-term plan is to have infos about the show, cast biographies, episodes guide, reviews, downloads and complete transcripts. I have a heck of a job ahead of me, given that I'm also supposed to work on JimProfitOnline.com and I have a dozen of pilots to transcribe for the Pilots Zone. In other words, looks like yours truly is booked till the end of the year.
◈ Opinion:
Seen 28 Days Later yesterday. Only hit the theaters a couple of weeks ago here. Anyway it's a heck of a good movie I tell you that. I always liked that kind of film, it reminds me of the Romero's Zombie flicks I used to watch when I was a kid. Lot of fun. I'll definitely buy the DVD when available. OK I won't, I'll certainly download it. Hey gotta save money. Anyway you can find more info about the movie here in case you're interested. I give the movie a well-deserved 8 out of 10 rating. Waiting to see Swimming Pool now.

Universal Television, the studio that produces the Law & Order franchise, has announced its plan to roll out a fourth edition of the drama next season. The untitled project will once again use the now infamous L&O cops and lawyers boring formula. The new series will focus more on the New York court system and use a rotating cast of actors instead of a regular cast. How lame is that? Am I the only one getting really sick of all that L&O crap? Please pull the plug already and give me new stuff that really blows my mind.

Now that's a first. I wanted to check out the official website of the new Showtime show Out Of Order to see what it's all about but I couldn't access it for the stupid reason that I don't live in the U.S: "We at Showtime Online express our apologies; however, these pages are intended for access only from within the United States". How lame is that? Isn't the Internet supposed to be a worldwide experience? That's the point of the thing, right? I understand that the show airs on a U.S cable channel only but it will eventualy made it to Europe where I'll be able to watch it. Preventing me from getting info about this show, prohibiting me from accessing the entire Showtime website because of my nationality and where I live, is just bigotry.
